Was Golden Dragon at Longo's a mag?
I typically visit this location in the mornings to get my shopping done before the crowds arrive. The store is always very clean and well-organized, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I want to give a special mention to one staff member, Bill, who works in the produce section and with whom I always have positive interactions. Whenever I need a specific item that isn't on the shelves yet, Bill goes above and beyon... View all feedback.
What R J dislikes about Longo's:
We ordered a cake for my mom's birthday, but here’s what happened after we put it in the fridge! The writing on the cake smeared, which was really disappointing. We felt quite embarrassed to serve it at the party. View all feedback.

As a result, I am now deliberately opting to shop at Walmart and Costco instead. In my view, if Longo’s cannot deliver on quality and service, their prices simply aren’t justifiable.
I ordered an 8-inch strawberry shortcake from this restaurant through Uber Eats, and I was shocked to find that there were no strawberries at all! There wasn't even any strawberry sauce inside. This is completely unacceptable! To make matters worse, the cake isn't even 8 inches in size. How can you be so bold in misleading your customers?!!!

Longo's Boxgrove in East Markham offers an impressive selection of high-quality produce, meats, and seafood. In my experience, this location consistently provides better cuts of meat compared to other Longo's stores in Markham. The seafood quality is generally reliable as well. The produce meets the usual high standards found at other Longo's locations. Overall, the store is clean and well-organized, making for a pleasant shopping experience.
I really enjoy shopping at Longo's. While I don't have concrete evidence, I suspect they put a lot more effort into training their staff compared to other grocery stores, and I can definitely see the difference. I also appreciate that they carry items that Loblaws doesn't offer, like the Astro single-serve yogurt (175 g). Additionally, their meal kits are superior as well.
