**Lee's Kitchen: A Mixed Bag of Reviews Post-Reopening**

Since its reopening, Lee's Kitchen has faced a juxtaposition of experiences from customers. While some lament a decline in quality, reminiscent of past favorites like chicken balls and Cantonese chow mein, others have found satisfaction in the takeout offerings, enjoying dishes like Salt Pepper Squid and General Tao chicken. Portions generally receive positive notes, with lunch specials being particularly praised for value. However, criticisms abound regarding service speed and inconsistent food quality, with some calling out poorly executed items such as egg rolls and overly salty dishes. Overall, it seems Lee's Kitchen remains a worthy stop for those in the area, albeit with caveats.

Since the reopening after the lockdown, the restaurant has new owners, and unfortunately, the quality has declined. We ordered our usual favorites—chicken balls, fried rice, and Cantonese chow mein—hoping they would be similar to what we used to enjoy, but sadly they fell short. Normally, I would have rated it 2 or 3 stars for their effort, but the food isn't even on the same level as other basic Chinese restaurants in the area. While the restaurant's name remains the same, the recipes certainly have not.

Worst chinese take out of my life. We ordered D5 dinner for 4.Breaded shrimp with the shells on?? Here’s how to eat this: peel off all the breading along with the shells (where all the flavour was), and eat a shrimp with nothing on it.Egg rolls were filled with tasteless paste. So strange we’ve never seen anything like them before. How do you fail an egg roll??Noodles arrived crispy, dry and clearly pre-cooked and with little burnt tips. Turns out we’re supposed to pour on the bucket of sauce provided. Ok…Black pepper beef was ok, but it’s exactly the same as the stuff we were supposed to pour on the dry noodles!Waste of money, so sorry we did this!

I ordered Cantonese Chow Mein, Chicken Balls with Sweet and Sour Sauce, and Salt and Pepper Fish. The food was prepared quickly, and the portion sizes were reasonable for the price. The kids really enjoyed the Chicken Balls. I would definitely come back to try other dishes.

Service was very slow. Took a very long time for the cashier to attend the desk. Egg fried rice tastes good, but the chicken wings were VERY salty. Not horrible but a little unpleasant. They should keep their deep fried items in styrofoam with a hole in the container so it doesn’t get soggy. There is potential but customer service should be better
