Was Bee Knight at Komeya a mag?
The ingredients were fresh, but the portion sizes were somewhat small. The poke bowl featuring salmon and kale noodles included a fair amount of vegetables, but it was short on salmon and noodles. The shredded beef in black pepper sauce could also benefit from more greens. I've definitely had more flavorful poke bowls at other places. As for parking, there's limited availability around the condo building, and there i... View all feedback.

What Matt Au Yeung dislikes about Komeya:
I was pleasantly surprised by the torched salmon sushi rice, which was truly delicious. Unfortunately, the Unagi Don and Baked Chicken Rice with black pepper sauce were both disappointing. The spring rolls were overcooked, and the other dishes were quite basic, especially considering their higher price point. View all feedback.

Komeya's Poke Bowls are both delicious and satisfying while being healthy at the same time. My boyfriend and I ordered a Tuna Poke Bowl with sushi rice and a Salmon Poke Bowl with Kale noodles. Both were excellent; the avocados were perfectly ripe, the fish had a nice texture—soft yet firm—and there were ample additional vegetables that complemented the bowls nicely (including 2 cherry tomatoes, corn, cucumber, ginger, and beans). We also appreciated the artwork and the overall ambiance of the interior.

Wow, this place is truly a hidden gem! It's easily one of the best poke bowls I've ever had in Markham. The salmon was top-notch, and the ingredients were fresh and bursting with flavor. I particularly loved the kale noodle base paired with the spicy creamy sesame sauce. While there are only two tables and a small bar for indoor dining, the staff is incredibly friendly and serve beautifully presented dishes promptly. I will definitely be returning!

This delightful little café provides a cozy atmosphere with an extensive menu to select from. The staff are welcoming, and the decor is charming. Although the pop music playing in the background isn't quite to my liking, it's bearable. My top choice is the kale cold noodles with salmon; it's remarkably tasty, feels healthy and fulfilling, and the sesame sauce is simply fantastic. Their pork ramen is acceptable, but I don't think hot noodles are their specialty. I also had a bubble tea once, and it was a generous portion for the price and very flavorful. Just a heads up—seating can fill up quickly, especially on weekends!

The dish was generous in portion, filled with noodles and vegetables; however, it could have benefited from additional sauce, as it turned out a bit dry.

Incredible! I'm thrilled that we now have a place like this in our neighborhood.
