What User doesn't like about Kiu Japanese:
this restaurant has received too many rewards, which is well earned in the fact. So I just want to comment on the weeping I ordered on Wednesday. because it was so delicious that I forgot his name. the bartender, I love her/he! unexpectedly she made a cocktail like fruit afternoon tea, took one swallow, and the picture immediately appeared before me: a sunbeam outside the window shimmered lazily on my face, the brigh... I visited this place for a quick lunch on Saturday, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We tried the Salmon Aburi Oshi, and even though I'm usually not a fan of torched sushi, it was really tasty. I recommend this spot if you're looking for a quick bite after catching a movie.
I tried to make a reservation for 5:45 PM, but when I checked back just five minutes later, that time was no longer available, so I booked for 6 PM instead. When I arrived at 6, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only about three other tables occupied. I found it strange that I couldn't reserve the earlier time. If you’re planning to catch a movie or hang out around Enterprise, this place is a convenient option. Perhaps my expectations for Japanese cuisine are higher than what this spot delivered, and of course, everyone has their own taste. However, for me, it just didn’t meet the mark.
I brought my family to Kiu, a place we usually visit for lunch because they offer a reasonably priced menu with great value for the quality of food. For dinner, we ordered quite a bit for our family of six, and I have to say the highlights were the baked oysters and the raw sashimi bowl. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, providing plastic forks, plates, bowls, and chopsticks for the little ones. The staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly, making our experience even better.
Not our first time at this place, but this time it’s the absolute worst experience of all. The food takes a long time to come, and the quality is not as good as before. Sushi rice seems to be old rice and the udon tastes very plain, like the chef didn’t use salt at all. Also the drinks take a long time and it’s such a rip off. The sangria in the picture is very small and it costs $19! The waiter tells us they are very busy but the restaurant isn’t even half full. Even asking for some water takes a while and we have to ask them to leave the bottle so we don’t have to wait again.
They have this little card they put on the table with a message to celebrate anniversaries and other special occasions if you let them know before hand. Lovely restaurant looking forward to the next visit!
