Jīn Cuì Yuán Golden Jade - Markham

This was our second visit, and we enjoyed the snail dish, which was huge and just as delicious as we remembered. The extra chopped meat we added was a great complement to the meal. The service was exceptional, and to our surprise, we were treated to complimentary desserts as well.

The restaurant is nothing remarkable. It offers a blend of Hong Kong and Nordic Chinese cuisine. I would recommend avoiding the spaghetti bolognese, as they prepare it in a fried Cantonese style instead of the traditional baked version. The hotel is situated in an industrial area, and overall, it’s not a hidden gem.

I found the price of $46, including tips, quite steep for just two bowls of regular noodles. While the portions were generous and I struggled to finish mine, the flavor didn't stand out—it was pretty standard. The service was decent, but I expected more from a place that specializes in South Chinese noodle soup, especially since there aren't many options for this type of dish. They could definitely elevate their offerings.

This is our first time here. Order stir fried beef, Luo shi feng and pork noodles. I love their Luo shi feng , the portion is big and that's great, not spicy enough for me. But it's always great to have fresh Luo shi feng instead of instant noodles. We will come back. Thank you for the great service and clean rrstaurant environment.
