The menu has changed quite a bit (from what I remember, they change the menu rather frequently). I absolutely loved the salmon burger that I ordered. My only complaint was that there was too little burger and too much fries! I loved the bun that they used for the salmon burger and the filling was extremely saucy and flavorful. The fries on the side were excellent as well. Everyone at our table also loved what they ordered and service was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and service was very good. They were attentive without going overboard. None of us had drinks. We all tried different meals. For appetizers we have the drunken crustaceans and the tacos. I sampled both and preferred the drunken crustaceans. For dinner I had the chicken and waffles, delicious. Had the duck confit frites which was served barely warm in a huge heaped mound of stuck together fries and a couples pieces of slim chipped duck. It was dry and flavourless. I followed with the chicken and steak waffle. Huge portion which would make a starving man happy but the steak was over cooked, not medium rare as suggested. The fried chicken was ok but the syrup and sweetness of the dish was way too much to stomach. The waffle became soggy and just to sweet for a main course dish. My friends ordered the short ribs and felt the same way about their dishes. We will not return which is sad because there was so much hope for this place

It was our first time there and we were glad we had made reservations in advance, as th... read more Tonight, the FoodCrew gathered at Inspire Restaurant in Markham Village. It was our first time there and we were glad we had made reservations in advance, as the place was quite busy on weekends. The restaurant had trendy and inspiring decor, with a color scheme that matched the food perfectly. Our servers were attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The kids enjoyed the handmade beef patties on fresh rolls with a generous portion of hand-cut fries. I started with their popular Duck Tacos, which were delicious with Duck Confit, Jicama Orange Salsa, Duck Egg Curried Mayo, Feta, and served on Flour Tortillas. The main course was Simple Short Ribs with Blue Cheese, Shiitake Demi glaze, Spinach Truffle Mash, Potato Strings, and Sweet Corn. The short ribs were cooked to perfection and incredibly delicate. For my main dish, I tried the Shitaki Udon Carbonara with Spicy Italian Sausage, Braised Beef, Creamy Shiitake Sauce, Seasonal Mushrooms, Parmesan, and a Quail Egg on top. It was larger than expected and I had to take some home because it was so filling. If you're looking for creative and inspiring cuisine, Inspire is the place to visit.
