Was Anonym at Firefly a mag?
Hong KongTea House Style restaurant with a mix of traditional Hong Kong/Chinese dishes i.e. wanton noodle, congee, etc. and western style food i.e. steak, baked pork chop, French toast for afternoon tea time special. The varieties are just amazing. I had the baked pork shop w/two eggs and steam broccoli w/corn bits and milk tea. The waitress was most accommodating to allow me to change from the standard carbohydrate... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Firefly:
We ordered the Sizzling Angus Steak and the Baked Pork Chop combo. I comes with a soup - we liked the Vegetable Borsch over the Lobster Bisque. For drinks, try the cold lemon tea. We enjoyed the Baked Pork Chop over the Steak. View all feedback.

If you want a fast pace Hong Kong style cafe, this place can satisfy you. Food are very good price, food are okay. Hong Kong food meet western food.

By Hong Kong Cafe standard, this place is huge! Furnished with outdated decor, however, degree of comfort and atmosphere was passable and quite relaxing. Service, though friendly, was slow and lethargic. Fortunately, all these short falls were rescued by the surprisingly tasty, and value-for-money food. Portions were generous so one needs to gauge accordingly.A few really stand out offerings include an authentic tasting Hong Kong style Russian Borscht, an excellent, balanced and not too tangy Baked Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and an almost perfect Hong Kong style Baked Pork-Chop on rice. Though the overall presentation and taste might not fit some western palate, however, to patrons familiar with British colonial Hong Kong style cafe food, the offerings will for sure bring back fond memories! For comparison purposes, their closest competitor is Time Square's Richmond Court. IMHO, Firefly's food is a notch better.

I was so embarrassed after taking my partner here and hoping for a nice relaxing dinner.I ordered eel on a bed of rice, it tasted so foul, I immediately spit it out. The waitress spoke with the cook, who said they had been serving the eel all day and no one else had complained, then she threw her arms up in the air in an 'I don't know what I'm doing' gesture. She seemed to imply that I didn't know what I was eating. I buy eel quite frequently. I've had full size (with rice), sushi, BBQ eel, etc. This was a bad tasting eel and I'm quite certain it was rotten. I do acknowledge that eel can taste very different depending on where it comes from and preparation, but this was a truly foul meal. What really irritated me was that they charged me anyway and only offered a 10% discount. The meal was almost untouched. Maybe they did not take me seriously because I look young, I don't know. It has been some time since I went here, hopefully they have improved.

Food was cheap. Had combos but if you want quality, go somewhere else. Food wasn't good. If you just want to fill your stomach then give it a try.

Overall, the restaurant is spacious and offers also free wifi service. We usually go there as a group and quite enjoy the offerings there.
