I would prefer their coffee instead of Starbucks.Very comfy environment to have chit-chat with friends. Or just enjoy the free Wi Fi by yourself.Friendly staff. Worth trying out.

There's always a choice of dark or medium roast, and a large variety of loose leaf teas. Their Chai latte is not powder based like Timothy's or Second Cup, so it's delicious. The big bonus is fresh muffins baked several times daily, on site,Apple cinnamon, sweet corn, chocolate banana ,etc, they are all so good! They also have a great sandwich, called spicy Italian as well as other good choices. The only negative is that they close at 6 pm.

I was told that the food was made inside this establishment. The Bean also offers music nights. I have not attended one but it sounds like fun.

I had a midweek meeting here with a new client & found this establishment without any issues at 5762 Highway 7 East, located directly beside the Shoppers Drug M... read more I had a midweek meeting here with a new client & found this establishment without any issues at 5762 Highway 7 East, located directly beside the Shoppers Drug Mart. This is a great place to have a business meetings, catch up with friends or alone with a good book. There is ample spacious seating in here with the option of food ranging from a cookie, sandwich, panini, soup, or pizza. They have a good selection of hot/cold drinks on offer & I thoroughly enjoyed their cappuccino.I would have have given this a 5 star rating but the staff member who was on duty wasn't very customer friendly, didn't smile & when we requested a particular panini that they had advertised she not only said that they had run out but shortly after, when more had been made she made no point of telling us that there were more, even though she saw us sitting at our table. We only discovered that the panini's had been replenished when we went up to use the bathroom. Not very good customer service, which was also noted & mentioned by my client.Overall this was a good visit & I would come here again if I'm in the area & hopefully next time the member of staff who served us will smile & have made improvements on her levels of customer service.
