Something... read more Great place for some body- soul-warming Shanghai food. Come here if Ding Tai Fung is too crowded (although this place is usually quite packed as well! Something I love to order here are Sweet Sticky Rice Rolls with Pork Floss — sweet AND savoury all *rolled* into one! I also love the Noodles in Peanut Sauce and the Red Bean Deep Fried Egg White Balls for dessert. There's still a lot more I want to try on the menu!

Additionally, they tend to squeeze too many tables together, which can make the space feel crowded and detract from the dining experience. On the positive side, the staff are generally efficient and friendly.

On one occasion, our waiter spotted a small hole in two of our dumplings and promptly returned with two extra ones, both perfectly wrapped. I truly appreciate their commitment to maintaining high food quality standards. I highly recommend this place!

We had been to this spot many years ago for a family birthday but not recently (as there are just so many endless restaurants to try) and are glad we returned. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious and well priced. We ordered the pork and crab soup dumplings which were savoury and warming. The scallion pancakes were crusty yet doughy and perfectly balanced. The braised pork was fatty and sumptuous. We look forward to returning soon and trying more!
