I ordered the Risotto Fungi and it was a delightful dish of Arborio rice cooked with a mix of mushrooms, onions, garlic, and porcini broth. It was topped with grana danano Parmigiano and parsley truffle oil. The aroma was enticing and the portion was generous, larger than it appeared in the picture. The mushrooms were soft and juicy, adding a great texture to the dish. The risotto itself was delicious, and the addition of cheese made it even more enjoyable.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have never been let down. The Chef's platter for appetizers brings back memories of Saturday lunches from my childhood. The rack of lamb is cooked to perfection and the tiramisu made in-house is delicious. This place is perfect for a date night or business meeting. I will definitely be returning soon!

I had a fantastic time dining at Carmelina Restaurant for Father's Day. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service. The prices were reasonable for the amazing quality we received. The overall experience was superb.

I can barely find the words to describe it.... I was absolutely astounded by how wonderful my experience at Carmelina was... We phoned half an hour earlier for a reservation but my mom forgot to leave our name. It didn 't matter after all since they had plenty of tables open and our server remembered us from our call. The decor of the restaurant is absolutely breath taking with a Greco-roman influence complete with realistic looking friezes and columns. When we ordered our drinks I asked if they had anything similar to a virgin strawberry daiquiri. Our waitress said they didn 't but that she could make me something else with fruit juices and sprite. The drink tasted as good as it looked and I was very pleased. My parents also fell in love with their house wine (Merlot). Our waitress also brought us fantastic flat bread that tasted like it had just come out of the oven and it was both cripsy and soft. I 'm usually a pasta queen when it comes to food but that night I felt like something different and I tried the Torre di Pisa, a variety of grilled vegetables in melted bononcini stacked in a tower with a feta cheese stuffed mushroom at the bottom served with a side of penne in the most gorgeous tomato sauce I have ever tasted. I should also mentioned that we were a little confused by the menu at first since they only serve the express menu on weekdays, which is entirely different from the main menu, and it was Saturday night. My dad wanted pizza, which is only available on the express menu, but they made it for him anyway. When he thanked the waitress for allowing his special request she beamed and said 'Special requests for special people. ' I should also mention that they have a gentleman come in on Saturdays to play the piano and later play the guitar and sing while floating from table to table. He was phenomenal and it felt so romantic. Lastly, though I really wanted to try the chocolate mousse cake I didn 't think I would have the room so I had the tartufo. They bring it to you in a tall parfait glass topped with real whipped cream. It was also a treat since they had warned us that the kitchen closed at 9:30 pm but they brought us the dessert menu anyway even though it was just after 9:30. What else can I say? Great service, fabulous decor, and the most exquisite food. Carmelina is easily one of my favourite restaurants of all time.
