This was pointed out, and some of it was ine... read more We were a group of six for dinner. The restaurant wasn't full. Of the six dishes, the meat wasn't properly trimmed. This was pointed out, and some of it was inedible. The server told the chef (the owner), which was obvious since he spent most of his time standing in the doorway to the kitchen. He was either watching the guests or busy with his phone. He didn't react at all, but he did offer us a complimentary shot. Thank you for that. All in all, or rather, my conclusion: rather disappointing. Although, I must say, I've had a much better experience in the summer, and it was packed then. At least outside.

But they were... read more We went there for Christmas dinner. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the side dishes for the roast beef with onions arrived 10 minutes late. But they were still very tasty. For vegetarians, there's not only Käsespätzle (like everywhere else but also polenta slices with vegetables (very tasty , preferably with a bit more vegetables ; ... and salad platters are also available. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The new owner is still a bit shy; we would have liked him to greet us. Perhaps that's not standard practice everywhere, but it's a nice touch and appreciated. All in all, a very good meal and friendly staff.

The chef's recommendation to order the rib-eye steak instead of the rump steak was excellent – cooked to perfection, very nicely seasoned, and served with buttered bread. Perfect. The children were very happy with the Spätzle and gravy, and the Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) and the filet stir-fry are also highly recommended. Thank you so much, we'll be back!

He had packed his food, but it was unidentifiable – mush with schnitzel and inedible. Children know best what tastes good and what doesn't. Sad.
