I’ve been visiting this restaurant since 2007 and have watched the owner’s children grow up. Now, I even bring my own child here from time to time. The food is consistently excellent, and the owners have always been friendly. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. View all feedback.
What Johnny Demaria doesn't like about El Palmar:
I have to stop going to this restaurant. The food is good, but we always wait 20-30 minutes for the bill after we finish eating. When the daughters are working, it seems to be even worse. During our last visit, we weren't checked on at all and waited over 30 minutes for the bill while one of the daughters walked by frequently without acknowledging us or asking if we needed anything. They are very short staffed. The same person that took our order, cooked our food. Even with only 6 tables, it took over an hour to get our food. The free Saturday nachos arrived as we were leaving. Food was OK, but not worth the wait. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The absolutely BEST ribeye dinner in town from the least expected place. They do better steak than most steakhouses
If you are local and not eating here Tuesdays you're wasting your life. Tacos are 2$ each and you if your order 5 you get one free. And these tacos are big. Not little 2 bite street tacos, but full of good grilled chick n or carne asada. Also have American dishes like cheese steaks, fettuccine as well as full Mexican and Seafood menu. They have beers and margaritas and its nice and cleanntonsotndown and eat.
Good Mexican food but also has a variety. My kids are picky eaters. My daughter enjoyed their steak and my son loved their fish and chips. I'd eat here again.
