We only has gazpacho starter but they have a starter buffet avail to add toa in courses. We had the chicken, prawns and lamb chops. Observed steak that...looks nice but smallish by Canadian standards. Burgers look good size. We had the chocolate mousse and creme Brule for dessert. All excellent. Wine special was a rose. Had a bottle. Price at moderate for what we got. No tip required but superb service so we added a tip following Fodor guidelines. Usual great hotel breakfast buffet. Only item not prev encountered were chicken wings.

The service was under average and slow, the chairs are very uncomfortable, the food is really overpriced. We ordered fried calamari's for appetizer they came under cooked, after for entrée we...took the piece of beef I asked for a medium rare cook, I get a carbonized piece of meat, I sent back and a long time after they brought an other piece of meat with no good taste and full of nerves (I think that was cheap meat like flank), the only think OK was the desert buffet. The prices are too high like a fine dining but with bad fast food menu, they need to put a menu in accordance with a four stars hotel. The wine was very expensive too, forget this place and save money and buy a sandwich before.

It's a nice hotel to stay but the restaurant is completely overpriced atmosphere is ok, seating is uncomfortable for long meals service is friendly, didn't have... read more It's a nice hotel to stay but the restaurant is completely overpriced atmosphere is ok, seating is uncomfortable for long meals service is friendly, didn't have to wait long for the food (no complaints there) but the food is completely overpriced. you pay fish then in nearby (good) restaurants. if the quality was then ok, but that's not the case, frozen vegetables, fries are not fresh, ... my partner had burger, it was a cheap mass produced sandwich, and the meat was not of the best quality. Bread on the table was old, and not tastefull. Wine choice is ok, but again expensive compared with neighbourhood (even Marseille city) restaurants...
