Five stars? It's not just because the food was prepared to order, ensuring a freshly cooked meal. It's also about the way the staff treats their customers. I felt respected during my visit—thank you! What User doesn't like about Waffle House:
This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant, and I will never return. The staff, including the cooks, were not wearing hair nets. When my server came to clean the table, there was hair on it, and I noticed another staff member scratching his head right above the grill. I decided to leave immediately. View all feedback.
Only 2 people work, although it was late at night. but the rise from the table came to grill, did not wash his hands, which he only put on plastic gloves and began to cook. that was okay.
Great cook but the crazy waitress smh is very rude and mouthy. Won't be returning
This has to be the worst Waffle House in the state I recently went there at 7 am an was told by a girl with an unusually large head an cornrows that they weren’t taking orders at this time my reply was why is the restaurant open only for a cook to say we’re closed an there wasn’t a staffing issue because they had 4 employees there at the time
In town for business, hotel breakfast was a no show so we stopped at a familiar chain. So glad we did. The young man who served us today 6/16/22 at around 10 am was just amazing. So attentive, it was refreshing as so many places are having staffing issue. I hope management know what a gem they have in him. Good was good cooked to order, didn't even balk when my husband asked for steak and eggs as steak is not on the menu. Thanks for a wonderful meal. So glad the hotel breakfast fell through.
We tried to dine in, 2 people, and they denied us service because they were backed up with orders. I cannot make this up. They had three people working, three people talking and two customers inside waiting on food. They had half of the restaurant blocked off, I’m assuming for the crew who were having a loud conversation about a text she sent while she was in her feelings the previous night. They aren’t taking call in orders. We left very perplexed.
