I dine here quite regularly, so barbecue isn't really my thing. However, they use real charcoal, unlike most other Korean barbecue places, so I can come as I am. My go-to dish here is the hearty soondubu, or soft tofu stone stew. I've tried this dish at many places, including in Korea, and none can compare to the quality at Tofu Village. Since it's my last night living in this area, I had to have one final taste. Thi... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tofu Village:
Terrible and poor customer service. We have a table of 9. Waitress took our orders (didn’t write anything down), left then came back out and told us she forgot what we ordered. We reordered and then when the food came out my order never came. First off she didn’t give me utensils, then forgot my drink, and then my whole order. I told them I want to cancel because it took too long, they still brought it out and try to... View all feedback.
I have been in tofu village twice, once immersed and once perished, and both experiences were exceptional! the bi bim bop was my meal of the choice both paint and each time it was extremely tasteful and fresh. I was really impressed by the additional side items they supply along with the standard meal. long overdue, tofu village was my first exposition to Korean bbq, and I wasn't in korea, so I can't comment on the authenticity, but I can say definitiw, each part of the meal delivered a diverse and sturdy flavor profile with which I was more than satisfied. her service was professional and noticeably fast. this place has already become a lunch stop for me and my family.
They offer all-you-can eat kbbq, but I decided to get other stuff. The bulgogi was pretty good, but as for the tteokboki I think I have had better elsewhere. Service was pretty quick for me, and the regular menu was more than filling. Will be coming back here.
Meet a group here. Very accommodating service. Food is really good. Only complaint on this trip was that the dol sot bi bim bap had very little crispy rice on the bottom.
Minus one for service, not bad but could have been better. The meat was great, worth every penny spent.
The Korean food here is surprisingly delicious! I am very picky when it comes to Korean food because I myself can cook it well and so can my family. I had the soft tofu soup extra spicy with short ribs, we also had cold noodle soup and jajangmyeon. It was all good. The only complaint was the server. She seemed a little annoyed, but overall everything was good.
