Pretty much your regular Gyro. Prices aren’t bad and you get a tons of fries. Wish they would’ve add more sauce though. I would definitely go back and try something new. View all feedback.
What Lauren Polutta doesn't like about Pita Mediterranean Street Food:
they used to have lots of fresh options like roasted vegetables, tabouleh, etc those options seem to be off the menu now. the chicken shawarma platter was very plain and greasy : View all feedback.
I've ordered the Greek fries from other Pita locations in the past, but my experience this time was quite disappointing. First, I received lamb instead of chicken, and it arrived without any toppings. When I finally got the correct dish, I found it lackluster and not at all like the enticing photo I had seen.
They will simply ignore you while you wait to place your order.
The gyros at this restaurant are fairly typical, but the prices are affordable, and they provide a generous serving of fries. I would have liked a bit more sauce, though. Overall, I would definitely come back to explore other options on the menu.
They previously offered a wonderful variety of fresh dishes such as roasted vegetables and tabbouleh, but it appears those items are no longer available. The chicken shawarma platter lacked flavor and was quite greasy.
The food was outstanding! Although the prices were a bit higher than average, I truly enjoyed the shawarma plate I ordered. The service was quick, even if it wasn't the friendliest, but that didn't bother me too much. My main priority was getting delicious food, and I certainly succeeded. It's situated in Marietta Market, so it can get quite busy. It's a small walk-up place inside. I will definitely come back!
