Mellow Mushroom West Cobb - Marietta

I have been to many Mellow Mushroom locations, but this one is the best. The pizza is excellent and the modern decor adds to the cool vibe of the restaurant. The service is also top-notch.

I am not a fan of the paper straws at this restaurant, as they do not taste good with the drinks. I would prefer if they switched back to plastic straws. The service was okay, but we had to ask for our drinks to be refilled and the server did not put our pizza in a box for us, which I think would have been a nice gesture for the customers. The pizza, however, was delicious as always.

The bartender Steven or Steve was very unprofessional. I have never been asked or need to say PLEASE to any bartender. So that thru me off when Steven said it and I was going to address it But another customer sitting two barstool away asked me You have to say Please? That let me know this was deeper than I thought wow this guy Steven was ignoring me when I when trying to get another drink(waving/ holding my glass up) So I finally said excuse me I would like another drink and Steven replied with a straight face looking at the other customers Say Please . I hate to say it but you must call a duck a Duck and you Know what I mean if you are a Blackman sitting at a bar with 10 other people who are white. Why is there no response to my review? SMH

The gluten free crust has changed from the original. This new crust does not digest in my stomach well. They serve the cheapest of wine and the restaurant overall is really grimy. Too expensive as well for what you get.

I'm updating my review of this Mellow Mushroom. Although my husband and I did not have the best experience recently, Caitlin, the manager at the Dallas Hwy location, clearly cares about her customers. She more than made up for the glitches and we look forward to dining there again.
