Mac's Chop House - Marietta

Pricey menu but well worth it! I ordered the 16oz Delmonico Ribeye. My daughter ordered the Herb Crusted Colorado Lamb Rack, and my wife ordered the 12oz Bavette Steak. We also ordered the sharable side dish, Smoked Gruyere Elbow Mac and Cheese. Table service was excellent. While we waited for our meals, we were served bread drizzled with a locally sourced honey. Excellent! Meat cooked to perfection. I cannot begin to explain how good my steak was. The lamb was also greatand flavorful. Even the Bavette Steak was good. My wife enjoyed the chimichurri as well. This location is highly recommended. Take someone special here as a special treat!

Small menu but great food. The food was great. We came on a Saturday night during the chic lobster special. The lobster was a petite lobster from Maine, very sweet, great quality, and very tasty for $29. It was served with green beans and potatoes. We also had the cheesy crab dip as an appetizer. It didn?t have a lumps crab like your typical dip but was still packed with crab flavor, my guess is that it had shredded crab. Either way, it was very delicious and definitelyworth $12. After the crab dip we sampled a dozen oysters from the east coast and west. All of them were very fresh and professionally shucked. They we served with hot sauce, crackers, cocktail sauce, and of course horseradish. For dinnerwe had the chic lobster which I already mentioned and the fish tacos. The fish tacos was a large entree that came with 3 halibut tacos and your choice of a side for only $18. I chose the clam chowder soup which was very tasty and was packedwith clams and potatoes (very filling) Great experience overall with very few drawbacks. If I had a few positive suggestions it would be to expand the appetizer menu with larger shareable items long with adding another entree or two. But Imight be over thinking it, cause it is supposed to be a raw bar. Only other thing that I noticed was that they delivered our entrees about 2 minutes after our oysters. It could have been staggered a bit better. Final thoughts, I will beback.

Ordered the lazy Susan for around 24 dollars per person. They brought out one platter with two French toast, two waffles etc etc. my mom has been here before and we were supposed to get one platter per person but we only got one. After finally figuring it out with the manage, thirty minutes after bringing out the one original platter they brought out two more. We still were missing one platter for my boyfriend and ultimately never received it. They did take the threeplatters off the bill and charged us for one. But wasn?t satisfied because would have rather payed for the four platter than not receive what we ordered. Also our waiter Theo was very rude and was very adamant that we were wrong and we weresupposed to get ONE platter. Mind you the table side unlimited mimosas is 25 per person and you get UNLIMITED. But we?re supposed to pay 24 PER PERSON for two waffles two French toast two watermelon slices etc etc??? How does that makesense? He also told us ?no? to adding cheese to our eggs because the ?food was all ready on the way? but as stated before we received one platter and still had to wait thirty more minutes after that to only get two more platters. The foodwe did get was good though that?s the reason for the one star. But Theo made the whole experience a horrible one. And honestly the food was good but not that good to bring me back.

Mac's food, cocktails, service and ambiance are a cut above! I had the best chicken sandwich and fries I have ever had. ???? The Pineapple Dream cocktail was so good! Perfect! The atmosphere is nice. We will definitely be returning.

Having been here a few times before, I knew we'd find great drinks, delicious dinner and outstanding service at Mac's! No reservations, but there was room at the bar. We had a great time watching the bartenders make the smokey drinks. I knew I wanted a bourbon flight and my BF had a great glass of wine. The local flight was awesome and a great bargain. We ordered the Delmonico Ribeye with salads. Everything was prepared perfectly!
