All staff was wonderful—except for the person at the hotel I originally spoke to by phone who was rude, disrespectful and condescending. I discussed this with the general manager in person but got no feedback. The Hyatt I stayed in last time includes breakfast. Something to consider for your hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room very clean. And I loved the water with lemon in the lobby. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hamilton's:
I wanted the hotel to be better than it is. The bar/restaurant are in definite need of a refresh. Besides for being incredibly loud and definitely more of a bar than a restaurant, of the food options, several items were unavailable on Monday, which did not bode well for the rest of the week, the credit card machine was out all week, which was also not great, and some of the drink options were unavailable as well. I was attending a wedding and wanted a cup of coffee in the AM. Normally there is coffee in the lobby for guests. In all my experience traveling I have never encountered a hotel, especially one that is a conference center and on a golf course, that did not offer this amenity to guests. In addition, when arriving I was told that the breakfast restaurant had a buffet and ala carta but when going into the room they did not offer anything other than a 18.00 buffet. I contacted Hilton to make the suggestion about the coffee but they did not reply.
Excellent experience.Weekend breakfast buffet was beautifully presented and delicious.Staff was excellent and truly accomplished.If you are staying at the hotel try the value isEvident .If you are in the area and want to gather with friends or family I highly recommend the Weekend Breakfast at the Hamilton.
I absolutely love this hotel! It is beautiful, well decorated and a wonderful family environment. Julie was extremely pleasant and provided excellent customer service. She made sure everyone felt welcomed and comfortable. Michael was also very accommodating and kind. I highly recommend this hotel.
I had come across some positive reviews about this hotel, and the pictures looked appealing, with a lovely decor. However, I was quite disappointed with the food and bar service. The waitstaff seemed unfamiliar with the menu and couldn’t clarify why the Mac and Cheese was considered non-vegetarian. The bar had only a single bottle of Sam Adams, and the cider was flat. I was charged $26 for what was advertised as Tempura battered Fish and Chips, but it turned out to be pre-cooked, frozen, triangular pieces of fish that were bland and lacking in flavor.
The front desk staff and bartenders were excellent. However, the noise in the hallways around 11:00 AM was unbearable, making it feel like I was at a football stadium. I won't be considering this property for my future stays. The bed was hard, with worn-out areas where the foundation has been overused. While the place was clean, the infrastructure appeared old and worn out.
