I was looking for some soul food that was close to where I live now and this restaurant came up. I thought the reviews were decent so I figured I’d give them a try. I get home and open my box and the first thing that came out of my mouth is “IKYFL!” I spent $30. THIRTY AMERICAN DOLLARS for oxtails and THIS is what I got? This was my 1st time here and they did not disappoint. I will be back. I enjoyed my Turkey Wings, yams, and cabbage. Shell helped me and she was A1 gave Stella customer service. You have a new customer!
This kitchen is one of the best around!! I am a very particular eater.. I need to see cleanliness and respect not to mention personal hygiene within the workplace…. When you are dealing with food it’s a must! I am an old school cook … this kitchen has REAL SOUL FOOD…. This food isn’t out of a box mix with water….THEY put LOVE into their kitchen ! If you are a cook , go for your self and test my ratings…. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSATISFIED!! We need more this type food all around . Again, We are Virginians and we know how cook that southern old school food! Give them support !! The prices are reasonable.. like I said if you even know how to cook mac n cheese .. you will know how expensive it is to prepare … it’s DELICIOUS! ! We got 4 plates total .. no need for another restaurant and definitely not fast food while on visiting!! BLESSINGS!!!
RUN TO THIS RESTAURANT ASAP!!! I went here for the very first time today. I was greeted with all smiles and welcomes. Very nice staff!! Very clean!! Fresh food!! Oh the food… let’s get to it… FRESH, SEASONED, VERY WELL PREPARED, MADE WITH LOVE and SO DAMN FOOD! (Excuse my language) Do NOT pass this PLACE!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I was also charged an extra $10 that she couldn't explain why it was there. Please don't hesitate to go elsewhere.
