This Capozzi's location has been one of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area for over a decade. The staff is always friendly (and willing to discuss Pearl Jam). I highly recommend ordering pizza by the slice rather than a whole pie. Their sausage and peppers with angel hair is a delicious treat. I dig the restaurant's authentic, relaxed atmosphere. What Sowji T doesn't like about Capozzi's Pizza:
NOT New York style! First time trying at Capozzi's pizza. We were very excited to try based on the rave reviews but were disappointed greatly! It was not even close to New York style pizza, which is supposed to be thin, crispy, and foldable with flavorful sauce. We tried the Manhattan pizza. It was really good to look at, but the crust was thick and had zero flavor...not even salt in it. It felt like cardboard. The sauce taste was nice but needed more salt, again. The pizzas at other chains are much more flavorful, soft, and half the price in comparison. Not sure about where these rave reviews come from, looks suspicious!
Update 6/04/22 Got a cheese pizza with extra sauce. The sauce on their Pizza is always a perfect amount but today was just in the mood for a pizza swimming in sauce and it's delicious! Edit a few minutes later: I called them up they remade the pizza the pizza the new pizza that is is perfect! It's a good day! Apparently I've been given lightly cooked pizza before in the past and didn't know that it was a style and was upset the first pizza wasn't that way since it'swhat I was used to. I'm sorry. 6/22/2021 As of 6/22/2021 I usually like the pizza at capozzi's and is normally my favorite but today the pizza was way overcooked the crust is hard and crunchy, the cheese is overcooked and it's difficult toeat. Normally it's soft and floppy in the middle with a nice crust. Not this time though. Just check pizza before you leave

Best veal parmigiana I?ve ever had. They are the nicest people you will ever meet. Any one posting less than 5 stars are crazy. They are certainly New York style. I?d take a picture of my pizza but I just eat it right away. This time I tried the veal parmigiana and it blew me away! Anything I?ve had before this was a massive disappointment in comparison. The very best!!!
I've been in Atlanta for a LONG time, transplant from Bay Ridge Brooklyn. This place is the REAL DEAL. I have been here about 10 times, some solo for pizza...others having a full dinner with my girlfriend. NEVER had a bad experience. The food is PERFECT, staff friendly. So glad to have a place like this in the area!
