Beni's Cubano - Marietta

Quiet and cozy. Good music. Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious. Cuban sandwich, salad, and yucca fries.

Food was good but expensive. $24 for two sandwiches. Small portions also. For that, we get two bigger sandwiches plus empanadas at other Cuban restaurants. When we visited there was one waiter for the whole restaurant. He did the best he could.

One of the best ways to judge a Cuban or Caribbean Latin restaurant is to start with the black beans, imho. Well, the black beans here are just ok. Not what you would expect. The grilled mojo chicken was not really mojo and the portion was rather small. My wife, who is Dominican, was super disappointed with her vaca frita. Everything else fell in the same vein. On top of that, it took forever to receive our food when the place was empty. There will not be a second go.

Super good, the aromen brought me directly to miami and the Cuban cuisine there. the brot is almost exactly as I remember. the atmosphere leads it from east cobb, which was really relaxing and much needed. our server was on the spot for recommendations, loved everything.

Small place connected to Tin Lizzy's that shares the same restroom and I think the kitchen too. No complaints about the service or food. It was really good, and we will be back.
