The broccoli was co... read more I visited this restaurant to celebrate my mom's birthday, and although it wasn't very busy, it's unfortunate because the food was fantastic. The broccoli was cooked to perfection, and everything else was equally impressive. I ended up with some leftovers, and even after refrigerating and reheating them, they still tasted great. I would definitely recommend this place!

It had been a while since I visited an Applebee's, but everything—the atmosphere, the location, the food, and the service—was exactly what I expect from a great Applebee's. I'm really glad to have this place nearby!

Not sure if it's just this Marietta location or Applebee's in general but my experience there last night was quite underwhelming, compared to the fond memories... read more Not sure if it's just this Marietta location or Applebee's in general but my experience there last night was quite underwhelming, compared to the fond memories I have of this eatery from a decade ago. Went on a Saturday night with my wife, the decor was dingy and dark, more like a pub than a family restaurant. The place was only about 20 percent full at 7pm, not a good sign. Wait staff was pleasant but verrrry slow. I get it, it's a hard job and I usually don't let slow service bother me but again, the place wasn't very busy. None of this would have mattered if the food was good. It wasn't. My wife's pasta was too sweet and my shrimp dish was too salty. And that's coming from a guy who loves to over-season everything. I'm going to try another Applebee's location before deciding if this is a place I'll frequent, since I do think it's a better value for casual dining than many other eateries in the area (I'm looking at you, Lazy Dog).
