We really enjoyed the food. My wife and daughters had pasta dishes, which were very good. I had a Calabrese pizza which was perfect and more than I could eat. The server was very responsive and helpful. View all feedback.
What Talia Borer doesn't like about Solo Trattoria:
Loved the bread with roasted garlic. Delicious salad. Big portions for dinner. My garlic mashed potatoes were yummy, but the wild mushroom chicken was a disappointment. It seemed to have been covered in a cream sauce that was too sweet for my liking. My friend enjoyed her chicken and crab pasta, while the other thought her red snapper was ok. In all cases, there was a lot of food! View all feedback.
Located on the Main Street in downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Cozy restaurant with warm decor. The menu has interesting options and all the dishes we ordered were well prepared and tasty. There is complimentary good and warm bread that comes with a whole roasted head of garlic to spread on the bread. The warm mushroom salad is outstanding, very different and flavorful. The Fettuccine con pancetta was very tasty and well made. The Linguini pescatore is a great option if you like seafood, with the addition of pesto into the tomato sauce giving it a special flavor.
The food was spectacular and they took our reservation last minute on a Friday night. Always busy. Sad to see it going soon! Many great adventures and many blessings! Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere!
I been here twice. The pasta was pretty over cooked the first time. The next time I went I had the chicken and veggies and that was extremely tasty.
Very crowded so they said we had to wait for 45m, but the lady was nice enough to find us a table and we waited for 10m max. The waitress was also very nice. Our food was so good! I'm so happy we decided to go there.
Good food, had a little wait to take place, but it was a Saturday night before the working day. The server we had was also very nice. Let's go back to Soo next time!
