Really nice place with a great lunch menu. we visited twice as we visited the Hochkönig-Schnell process with our two children. the location and eating is excellent. service very friendly!

We have been to Kronreith multiple times during our most recent vacation. The views are amazing, the service excellent, and the food truly top notch. The new chef has created a menu that is far beyond what you would find elsewhere. This is essentially 3-star cuisine along with a great selection of wines and spirits. In addition, there is a nice playground which can be priceless if you're traveling with small children. Long story short: We carried our 2-year-old in a broken stroller up the mountains, and I would do it again in a heart beat as long as Kronreith is the destination! Enjoy!

In the summer, the patio tables are gone first, they allow a fantastic view The food is very good! Friendly service. You can walk or drive up. In winter, the restaurant is the starting point for an adventurous sledding route.

Mountain restaurant, great location, local food of very good quality. Great after a good walk in the mountains and hills of Maria Alm, which is worth a few days' stay, anyway. I have been there in all seasons; my favorite is autumn, when the leaves take on their colours and when skies are clear and the air crisp. Very popular also in winter, with a decent toboggan run from the restaurant down into the valley.
