Shuckers Grille - MARGATE CITY

I had an excellent meal at this restaurant. I started with the clams, which were sizable and plentiful, served with a delicious sauce and crispy garlic bread. For my main course, I enjoyed the seafood chowder in a fra diavolo sauce, which was fantastic and flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!

I’ve visited Shuckers three times, and each experience has been really enjoyable. We tried the raw oysters, snow crab, and other dishes. I highly recommend dining outdoors, as it’s a much better experience compared to the indoor seating. The inside has a loud bar atmosphere, and during our visit today, we unfortunately had a standing table near the bar. I noticed the owner sitting at the end, while at least four employees were quite loud. I understand it's necessary to communicate in a busy environment, but isn't there a back area to address employee matters rather than doing it in front of customers? Overall, we love the food and the service is good, but for our future visits, we will definitely request outdoor seating.
