I'm gonna give her two stars because the food is good but the customer service is honestly h questionable. I noticed that this place is honestly kind of a rip off. For the amount of money you pay for your play it is ridiculous. And also if you are not Haitian or Jamaican you will not receive the same treatment or portion size as somebody who was. I'm Hispanic it's not like I'm white or anything but still literally the person ordered before me was treated better and even asked if she wanted her extra rice or salad and right after her I wasn't asked anything n jus skimped. They're very nice and they are don't get me wrong and the food is good but I just feel like the amount you get for $20 is honestly kind of ridiculous. It's mostly rice. They took away the small portion size so you sort of have to pay for the $20 medium size which really isn't that much meat... good taste no doubt tho.

I have ordered about 4 to 5 times and each time the food was not the best. However, I believe in second chances, so I thought I would give it another try. I ordered the jerk chicken and a brown stew snapper. Unfortunately, the food was not good, again. As a Jamaican, I expected flavor and this was flavorless. If I had my eyes closed I would not know that I was eating rice and peas or jerk chicken. Tasted like unflavored baked chicken and the fish was no better. My 15-year-old daughter used ketchup to give it some flavor. I called the store, not to get back a refund, but to inform them about the food. She didn't seem so concerned, so I decided to write the review. I have never called to report my dissatisfaction, but I was compelled because I had ordered multiple times hoping that the food would improve. I will not be purchasing at this store again.

I love their oxtail and husband loves their stewed chicken but holy hell the service is always ungodly slow. They definitely take island time to another level but we always just keep coming back because the food is delicious and the price is just right. We got the j chicken once and it was just a bit dry for us. We just stick with the oxtail and stewed chicken and love their slaw when they do have it. Most of the time they don't but def ask for it and get the slaw in place of the salad, it'll be a nice treat for your palate. It's not the Mayo based slaw like most places. Adds a nice acidic note to the heavy platter.

I am very disappointed, I bought a stew chicken and the chicken is dry and tough. I paid $14 for that! It has been reheated so many times that you can't even chew it! I'm really upset . I had to throw it to the garbage. It was today 9/3/21
