Check out the gin - high on botanicals and really different. I loved it. If you can, take home a bottle of the award winning Darkest Winter whiskey. So good. Otherwise, $10 will get you a decent taste. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Margaret River Distilling Company:
Although I'm not a huge fan of whisky I was surprised how much I enjoyed the tastings here. Happy to pay the $2 to $15 per sample, as it's such high quality. What seemed lacking was some complementary background info and an atmosphere. So it felt bland and austere to me. View all feedback.

Venue was very beautiful but didnt feel welcome. It was hard to have a smell of products before paying to try as customers were sat right in front of them and had no intention of moving. Tried a gin cocktail instead of paying to try a sample but it wasnt great. Others we were with enjoyed the tastings.

Great place to visit, enjoyed tasting the vodka , the staff were friendly and helpful wouldnt mind having a price of the tastings listed inside the place, as some were quite expensive to taste, but well worth it
So me and my partner went for a walk around a Forrest and lost our way. We stumbled out of the Forrest which was right in front of limeburners distillery . Lucky us. The weather was poorly so we assumed everywhere would be quiet . We walked in and the lady behind the counter was short of sighing as we entered . We initiated the greeting and asked could we do a tasting . She told us the prices immediately with little or no information on anything . Honestly she made us feel like we burdened her . I tried the port cask and my partner tried the American oak 15ml in a taster , $5 each I do think that's reasonable. I then had a 30ml of sherry cask on ice and my partner continued with American oak. I also had a double espresso which was acidic and bitter. The decor itself was beautiful and open . We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful cold, fresh weather with our superb whiskey. I will definitely be back for a longer engagement, I just hope for more welcoming hospitality
