Very nice staff, but the food took a really, really long time and then it was cold. An experienced cook would really help! The scrambled eggs were overcooked, the corned beef hash was undercooked,

We came up from Wilmington to go to the groovy plant ranch, and stopped here for lunch. The food was very good, after we finally had our order taken and received it. We waited over an hour. Was not busy. Only 3 other people here. I asked for ketchup, and the waitress brought out a basically empty bottle. Again, food was good, but service horrible.

What kind of diner doesn't know how to make scrambled eggs. A bad one.

Route 229 was a cute little mom and pop diner. We stopped for breakfast and had an omelette and pancakes. The pancakes were HIGE and the omelette was large as well. The ambiance is a mom and pop diner with concrete doors. I overlooked that for the good food at a good price! The waitress was also very friendly, and we were enjoying the conversation as well!
