UPDATE : Ended up returning sooner than I thought I would. May not be the best in town, but when I am craving Mexican it's a good go to. Had heard that Junior's was now serving Mexican so thought I would give it a try. Was surprised at how high the prices were. Definitely higher than a lot of the Mexican reataurants in the area. The chips came with a table salsa and 2 squeeze bottles... One with an orange creamy sauc... View all feedback.
What Gabriela Montenegro doesn't like about Juniors Diner:
I am very disappointed in this place. It used to be a good place but no waiter can stand the treatment of the owner and now they are closed. I hope they have a new owner who knows how to run the place View all feedback.

The chips came with a table salsa and 2 squeeze bottles... One with an orange creamy sauce and the other green. Gave the orange a try and it was extremely hot. Wish that a server or at least something on the bottle would have alerted to that. Got basic shredded beef enchiladas. Tasty enough, but nothing out of the ordinary. Enough to take some home. Glad I tried it but doubt I will be returning. Too many other better Mexican establishments in the area.
Literally waited an hour for no reason. Would not recommend
Terrible Mexican food, I don’t think you can even call it Mexican food. The server brought me the wrong dish which was disappointing, that said, what arrived was a vegetarian enchilada and quesadilla. The red sauce literally tasted like pizza sauce, it was not good. The cheese on top was mozzarella and it tasted like it came out of a bag, not fresh. There were barely any people at the restaurant but the food still managed to come out not very warm. I took a couple of bites and couldn’t even force myself to keep eating. It was really bad. The server didn’t seem to care that my plate was uneaten and didn’t ask how it was. Bad food and bad service, very disappointing. I’ve never had such a bad meal at a restaurant. I will never go back.
Juniors restaraunt is absolutely uninspired and an insult to Mexican food. It wasn't bad, nothing was burnt or raw or rotten, just lame. I think the enchilada sauce was Ragu spaghetti sauce. The French fries were just barely cooked, still white and pasty. The picante sauce for the chips has no spices to taste and no heat at all except one which is pretty hot, too hot for most probably. The place is nice inside, old diner style with booths and a good location with pleasent staff and clean as well. Too bad it's food is over priced and under spiced.
