We have had lunch at the Fairways Pub often and each time find the food and service consistently good! No, consistently excellent. We brought our friends and now we typically come in with a table of eight guests, all of which were extremely happy with our choice of restaurant. Keep up the good work. We'll be baaccckkkk! What BigApple dislikes about Fairways Pub:
It appeared to be a slow day/time at the restaurant. It took them a while to acknowledge our presence and clear the table where we wanted to sit. The food was OK and the service was OK. Neither were as good as our experience a year ago. My dish was tasty but could have been warmer. Perhaps it had set around a bit waiting for the other meals to be prepared. View all feedback.
It was a nice place. Though cold , even though the area was experiencing unusually cold temps, the place was chilly. Had to order coffee to warm up . Food was nice but way overpriced.
I made a reservation on OpenTable, to make a return visit, where a few years before, we had experienced the Ultimate Fish Sandwich. When we arrived there however, inspite of our Open table reservation, we found that food service stopped at 4:00. To say that we were disappointed would be an understatement! Susan, the bartender/server- went to tell the manager, Kevin Kremer, who went into action to try to get us a reservation at a restaurant in the adjacent hotel. Susan went in the kitchen and found the Chef, Brian Love and told him the story. Chef Love said it would take him a few minutes to restart the kitchen, but he would be happy to cook for us! CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE BEST!!!!! The sandwich did not disappoint! Blackened Grouper on a toasted and buttered, house made bun, lettuce, tomato and roumalade! Perfection! An amazing sandwich and exemplary customer service!!!!
Fairways Pub is a great place for lunch before or after your round, or if you just want a view of the golf course for lunch. They offer a good variety of salads, sandwiches and burgers, all ingredients are very fresh and the service is friendly and prompt. Enjoy!
