that is one of our favorite restaurants in the world. everything is made to home and if they are early and happy, they can have a look into the kitch and see how the bleeding or knoedel are made. we love to come here on New Year's Day. for the first glass of the prosecco of the new year! Excellent eating and friendly staff in a beautiful little baita on the right side of a beautiful black slop (pre da peres) between san vigilio di marebbe and plan de corones.
In winter they need skis to come here, in the summer they can wander through the forests to this small but beautiful traditional wood flu. paulina and angelo, the owners are working very hard to make their stay here for drinks or eating as unforgettable as possible....The traditional South Tyrolean eating is worth a detour and the apfelstrudel one of the best I ever had! all fresh, handmade and with the best ingredients.
I thought if I had to give a three- or four-star rating to this place, then I decided to have a four stars, as the overall experience was nice. prices in tune with other similar structures. the structure is defined as a mountain gourmet definition. that has a particular meaning for the owners, but I could not see any great differences with others that I dined while in this part of the italian . the service was quite slow, they are not used to have many guests; I guess and in the peak time it was a long wait. the food came kind of delicious and served in generous amounts. they serve locally made juices, this is a popular place both in summer and winter. because this is the only possibility in this part of the mountain, take their time and enjoy it
Here you can enjoy fresh and tastefull food prepared with lots of love. A family business with and excellent location and scenic view. The restaurant offers a cosy dining hall and a beatifull terrace with an amazing view. There are lots off fresh dishes off...excellent taste. While others restaurants in this region often serve salty food, here the seasoning is perfect. Whether you are skiing or hiking this is the place to plan your lunch, stop for a home made dessert or enjoy one off the best bombardino's in the region. Loving sweets, I loved the apfelstrudel and discovered that baileys is served in an chocolate covered biscuit with whipped cream on top... delicious!!!
