Nous y avons déjeun2 en couple, il y a une quinzaine de jour, un dimanche midiNous avions retenu pour midi trente et sommes arrivéS à midi et quart.Comme la sal... read more Nous y avons déjeun2 en couple, il y a une quinzaine de jour, un dimanche midiNous avions retenu pour midi trente et sommes arrivéS à midi et quart.Comme la salle de restaurant n'était pas prête, nous sommes installés dans un salon.Au bout de dix minutes, une assiette d'amuses bouche nous est déposée sur la table basse, devant nous.Enfin, au bout d'une demi-heure, nous réclamons un apéritif et comme nous avions fini l'assiette d'amuses- bouche, une autre. L'apéritif, nous est servi - après avoir réclamé la carte des apéritifs - mais pas de nouvelle assiette d'amuses bouches.Entre temps, par deux fois, une femme de ménage, passant par le salon, nous a gratifiée du spectacle des seaux et balais.............Repas sans plus, service correct hormis un garçon buvant de l'eau à la bouteille dans le fond de la salle.Après avoir réglé la modique somme de 221 euros, passant l'accueil, nous n'avons eu droit à aucun " au revoir......................."Peut être, un mauvais jour mais ce fût LAMENTABLE.

F... read more We were a large family that had booked months in advance to have dinner here. We were looking forward to the experience tremendously, only to be disappointed. Food: We did the Degustation menu for €65 per head. The food was good but not exceptional. The menu sounds fabulous and the Michelin star rating had maybe set our expectations high. The parts of dinner that were exceptional were the cheese course, the appetizer course and the desserts. The food is fresh and beautifully presented, however, the flavors were bland. Most folks at the table loved the fish main too. The portions were generous.Ambiance: You drive in to this majestic chateau, with a luscious green lawn and beautiful flowers in bloom. You have to be impressed. We arrived early to have a drink at the bar. However, it was a beautiful day and the view outside was peaceful and spectacular, so we decided to sit outside till the rain drove us in. The beauty of the surrounding and impressive structure of the hotel compel you to have a good time, it is magical. The dining room is old world, with modern touches. A very classy establishment, with a formal air. We loved the setting and the ambiance.Service: We arrived to excellent service. We ordered drinks and sat outside, the staff brought everything outside so we could enjoy the scenery and the setting sun. It was fabulous. The service at the restaurant started breaking down about half way through the meal. By the end of the meal we were a forgotten table, literally. No one replenished the water, bottled at a fabulous price, or wine or even cleared away the diary plates in a timely manner. I had to repeatedly get up to get someones attention to order water, we had given up on them filling up our glasses, and essentially did not order digestifs because we wanted to leave. Our server could never never remember the 2 folks, out of 8, who were sitting right next to each other, that had asked for sparkling water. The service towards the later half of dinner ruined the wonderful meal, the majestic setting and beautiful scenery of the location. We left disappointed.
