They are so atte... read more You can't beat the fresh, simple yet delicious food at Turtle Cove. The wine options are carefully selected by the friendly and spirited owner. They are so attentive to our kids when they join us which helps out! The food is delicious- I recently had the zoodles with a side of Faroe Island salmon that was cooked to perfection. A friend and I went out for a girls night dinner and not only had a great meal but had a lot of fun!

We wal... read more Not sure why this restaurant is accepting reservations when they are actually closed for a two week period, but that's what happened to my husband and I. We walked two miles from our hotel in the rain to have an anniversary dinner (with a 7:00pm reservation, mind you), only to come upon a piece of paper taped to the restaurant door stating that they were closed for their summer hiatus. We even received an email in advance confirming our reservation from Yelp and Open Table. Clearly we cannot make any statements about the food or service since we weren't actually able to eat in this strip mall establishment, but needless to say we were more than disappointed with the outcome of our evening due to a severe lack of communication by this restaurant, Yelp, and Open Table. Unfortunately, zero stars is not an option. UPDATE: I wish I saved my emails and notifications from BOTH Open Table and Yelp that my reservation was confirmed at this restaurant because I don't appreciate being called a liar. Anyway, we won't be frequenting this establishment the next time we return to Marblehead as the apology is much appreciated, but the accusation is not.

The food was exceptional; I enjoyed a perfectly cooked tuna steak and a halibut special. The appetizers were delicious, particularly the tuna tartare and the mussels. The service was also just right.

The food was fantastic, and the atmosphe... read more Turtle Cove is an upscale restaurant in Marblehead that my boyfriend and I visited while we were in Salem this October. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere had a lively vibe, thanks to an older crowd. It was quite busy and had a fast-paced environment, but the experience was definitely worth the wait!
