The food was very good. I had the Haddock. Wife had fried pickles that were also fantastic! The best but is the staff!! I can't stress that enough. EVERYONE, with whom we spoke, was helpful and friendly above the top!! Do not miss this while in the area. Thank you.
Great local restaurant! Sandwiches were delicious and a great price! Had the fish sandwich and chicken club. Also, the onion soup tasted great, too. The waitress was fun and very attentive! Definitely will be back again.
2 Mac Daddys to go. Comes with fried fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, French fries,, cornbread, roll and tarter sauce. Very fresh and tasty. I'll be back for sure.
Since April when we discovered this restaurant we have visited eight times and have not been disappointed yet. The food and the service is impeccable. They make you feel like family. We can't recommend any particular dish because everything we have tasted is amazing.......but do try the chowder and the fish sliders. The chef is to be commended along with the rest of the staff.
The Lobster roll was delicious and $26 which is inexpensive compared to most places right now. The drinks were strong and a very fair price. I'd definitely return! @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)
Nestled in Marblehead, this local gem charmed visitors with its warm hospitality and delectable cuisine. Despite a few negative experiences reported, many diners hailed the fresh, flavorful seafood and hearty sandwiches, particularly the clam chowder and fried haddock. The lively atmosphere, characterized by welcoming staff and quick service, made it a favorite among travelers seeking a homey vibe. Patrons appreciated the reasonable prices and quality of dishes, from Lobster Mac and Cheese to steak tips. For those in search of a reliable dining experience, this restaurant stands out as a must-visit destination in the area.

Mac n cheese deliciousness!! With or without lobster!! Burgers and salads are delicious too!
We had a fantastic experience at the Three Cod Tavern. Our waitress, Sandy, was delightful, and the food was excellent. I can't emphasize enough—make sure to try the lobster mac and cheese!
I went there two nights in a row just for the clam chowder. Absolutely amazing flavor!

Not much of a tavern, go traditional fare here. The staples are great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
We stopped in the “spirits” side to have a couple drinks and the unwelcoming feeling was pretty embarrassing. I wouldn't even give this place one star.. It was very apparent they did not want to serve us. We were finally given food menus, never even asked us if we wanted a drink. Which is odd because if we were wanting to eat we would have sat on the dining side. Don’t go here unless you feel like getting stared down by snobby rich people. Service: 1
We ordered take-out from this place and it was delicious! The fried calamari is world class seriously. Ordering was nice and easy and everything was prepared in no time at all. Next time i'm in Marblehead I will sure order again! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5

Fabulous find..atmoshere a historic tavern, dining side for families, larger parties. Bar side bar, tvs, high tops tables.. very happy fun area. Table for 2 in corner was perfect to watch staff interactions customers. Our waitress Carolyne was gracious and welcoming. In Marblehead..wanted fish order Fish Chips..busy dining room got our food fast. Haddock was fresh, coating was perfect. Large portion with fries. Coleslaw tangy and good. There was no leftovers. This was a wonderful lunch and a must try. Owner chatted with everyone as she sat them. She loves what she does and proud of what she and her husband have done for last 15 years. WE WILL BE BACK.
Ate here twice (lunch, then dinner) during our visit to Marblehead. First stop was after driving for hours and just needed a place to eat. Upon walking in we immediately felt welcome. Townie atmosphere with quick, lively service and really good seafood. Both visits our food was fresh and hot, while our drinks were cold and strong. Perfect combo for us weary travelers. Owned by locals and well worth the visit.
Awesome place we go there at least once a week. The fried haddock is delicious the steak tips are also one of our favorite dishes. the shrimp scampi is always good. the restaurant is clean and the service is amazing. we always leave with a full belly and are never disappointed!!
They have the best clam chowder and fish tacos in the state. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Marblehead!
This restaurant has a delightful ambiance, friendly staff, and outstanding food. Finding parking was simple, and despite arriving on a busy Saturday night without a reservation, we were seated promptly. We sampled several specials, including the Cajun calamari and a baked crab and scallop dish, and everything was delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked! The cocktails we ordered were also extremely flavorful.

This restaurant is incredible! We go at least once a week. The fried haddock is simply delicious, and the steak tips are some of our favorites. The shrimp scampi is consistently excellent too. The restaurant is clean, and the service is exceptional. We always leave feeling satisfied and have never had a bad experience!
This charming little place is located in a lovely town. While I found there to be a bit too much fried food for my taste, the cornbread more than makes up for it. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
I visited this restaurant twice—once for lunch and once for dinner—during our trip to Marblehead. After a long drive, we were just looking for a place to eat, and as soon as we walked in, we felt immediately at home. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with quick and attentive service, and the seafood was outstanding. Both times, our meals were fresh and served hot, while our drinks were cold and refreshing—just what we needed after a tiring journey. It's a local gem, and I highly recommend checking it out.

A beloved spot in the area! The food, drinks, and service are all exceptional. We come here every week. The chowder is the best I've ever had. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
I enjoyed lunch on Monday afternoon with my daughter, who recently relocated to Marmorhead. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and was quite quiet, which made it a bit lonely for the waitress.
