Nestled by the water, The Landing offers a vibrant dining atmosphere, perfect for families and casual gatherings. Patrons appreciate the delicious seafood, particularly the chowder and mussels, although opinions vary on portion consistency across dishes. Service is generally praised for being efficient and personable, despite some instances of delayed meals due to kitchen busyness. Service, food, and ambiance at this restaurant all receive a perfect score of 5. It's a great spot for lunch, although the menu is somewhat limited. Unfortunately, they were out of lobster on my visit, but that's okay considering the overall experience.
I am confused by the Yelp rating for The Landing. My experience was delightful. The new chef may be the reason for the improvement. The grilled salmon was exceptional. It was cooked perfectly.
Parking: Free parking lot only has maybe 12 spots and shares with what seems to be a boat ramp of some sort. Free street parking is limited and hard to get a spot. But it's worth it if you can find a spot! The curried mussels were tasty, drinks were great! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
I really enjoyed Marblehead, especially thanks to The Landing. The servers were friendly and this local restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere.
Always deliciously consistent in a good way. I love and prefer raw oysters BUT if I had to pick the grilled option that would sway me away it's the grilled oysters from The Landing. So tasty and the little crunch gives a nice texture to the oysters. I love rabbit so it was great to see a pasta dish with rabbit to add as a shared app. Very good. I wish I tried the sweetbreads but now I have a reason to return before the menu changes. The beet risotto with my steak was unexpectedly delicious. Red risotto is at first odd to see but was very good and perfect color on the plate for fall. My BF loved his salmon with the bok choy and rice. Both plates were clean. Another great dinner at The Landing!
