Reviews - Riptide
Reviews summary
Nestled in the vibrant community of Marblehead, this dive bar offers affordable drinks and a no-frills atmosphere. While the ambiance leans towards the darker side, its charm lies in the warm, welcoming social environment created by friendly locals and attentive bartenders. The bar features typical bar snacks, a pay mini pool table, and karaoke nights, making it a great escape from upscale dining. However, patrons should be mindful of its cash-only policy and occasional unpleasant odors. Overall, it's a beloved spot for those seeking camaraderie and unpretentious fun.

What David M dislikes about Riptide:
The bartenders were unhelpful. The place had an unpleasant odor, and I noticed them refilling high-end liquor bottles with cheap well alcohol. It seemed that the kitchen was used for smoking, which contributed to the overall poor experience. View all feedback.

Cold tasty Murphy's from the tap. Cheese burger at hand Celtics and Bruins playing. It's a nice little local dive that's quiet and gritty. There's a pay mini pool table and jukebox. Just make sure to bring cash
We visited from Ohio and stayed there in Marblehead. Great little bar. I won at pool twice haha and the staff and owner John was one of the nicest guys we ever met. Cash only but prices were great! Miss it already : Brigid and Andrew
Rip Tide is a cultural icon, highly recommend. Make sure you bring cash as it is cash only.
Cheapest beer in town. Pool table and sexy bartender's. What else could you ask?
