The service and food were sadly the worst I've ever experienced. At the drive-thru, the attendant asked me three times if I wanted a roll or a biscuit, and I clearly repeated "biscuit" each time. However, they still included a roll in my order. When she asked about my side, I requested okra, but it wasn't included in my meal. The fish was extremely dry; only the middle part was actually edible. I paid $8.11 for this disappointing experience.
The prices have always been on the higher side, but recently there has been a significant increase in the cost of chicken, accompanied by a decline in quality. Additionally, there's a new and unusual 3% fee for credit card payments. Be prepared to spend between $50 to $70 on chicken that is lukewarm and lacking in flavor, served with a meager amount of heavily watered-down gravy that is far from adequate for family meals. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won't be returning.
The food here is consistently excellent. However, for the first time, I was disappointed with the gravy—it was quite watery and lacked flavor. This was surprising because I've always enjoyed everything else!
I’ve been to many Chicken Express locations, but this one is by far my favorite. The chicken is always fresh and hot, the place is consistently clean, and the customer service is the best I’ve experienced anywhere.
