I have never been so disappointed, the service was appalling but that paled into i... read more Having been to Ombu often over the years we were excited about it re opening. I have never been so disappointed, the service was appalling but that paled into insignificance behind the food. Luke warm scallops, pork so tough it was inedible, the only saving grace the mushroom and Salmon course. Arrived at nine, got our appalling mains at midnight. Managements reaction to our misgivings was equally shocking. Unable to admit how dreadful their offering is. Something we will take up with don carlos senior management tomorrow. Sad to say, as we loved this restaurant, avoid at all costs!

Dishes lacked any intensity/ depth of flavour, tho the prawns were lovely. Hugely expensive.

But once we g... read more I came here with my family including my sister. She has a severe but allergy so we weren't sure if we should bring her to a Thai restraunt or not. But once we got there they said it was no problem. The staff was lovely and the food was amazing. The setting was equist with its beautiful gardens and rivers. As you walk in you just feel calm. Perfect. Totally recommend
