My wife and I had salad and prawn starter and sole for main course, it was excellent and good value.

We had walked past La Red from the Prom. We had read the menu and thought it may well be worth a visit. We were not disappointed. Really good food. lovely ambiance. There was a very good singer entertaining the guests. looking down at other venues on the beach La Red was easily the most popular!! and there was an obvious reason. A good night was a 'given '.

The restaurant is situated on the beach and looks very inviting, but sadly we had better meals elsewhere, either we chose the wrong night or the wrong food. We would almost certainly not return
