What gemmaevers2016 doesn't like about Golf's:
We were passing this restaurant en route to Pangea’s as needed a bite to eat before drinking! We were lured in on the promise of a free bottle of wine, this was nowhere to be seen. The decor is shocking, the music horrific and the restaurant was empty. We ordered pepperoni pizza and side of chips between 4 of us. It was below average and definitely oven cooked chips! They were desperate and grateful to have you there... View all feedback.
We visited golfs a couple days ago on our last evening in Marbella and it really was the perfect ending to a fab girls weekend. We stumbled across the restaurant after the very nice guy in the street stopped us and introduced us to the menu. He was in no way pushy and was very welcoming. It is directly on the marina a beautiful location, so we thought we would try it out. We was not left disappointed. Everything from the food to the service was impeccable. The waiting staff could not be any more attentive! We was served with complimentary gazpacho soup and garlic bread and then for dinner I had a gorgeous fillet steak and king prawn skewer in a light sauce which was served with lyonnaise potato and fresh vegetables. It really was delicious. Another of our friends had a lobster fettuccine which looked amazing, with half of a lobster served on top of a creamy fettuccine. I was slightly jealous of her meal I must admit! The only 1 regret that evening was not leaving enough room for a dessert, cause looking around at other tables desserts they looked beautiful. It’s a shame we only stumbled on the restaurant on our last night as we definitely would have returned. There food and service outdone many of the other popular and front line marina restaurants in Puerto Banus. We will definitely return next time we are in Marbella.
We stumbled on this restaurant last night somewhat helped by the Maitre D who was very persuasive in his determination for us to try the food. The service was excellent and the staff made us feel very welcome. We had the Galacian Sirloin and the Fillet Dijon and both were cooked to perfection. We also saw the Sea Bass cooked in Salt which looked fantastic, a very big meal for two. All in all a great restaurant which we will return to
Gold?? More like bronze! Lamb chops straight out the freezer and given 2 minutes in microwave, would not recommend

They were desperate and grateful to have you there... I can’t see them lasting the rest of the summer. The pizza was €18 but our bill came to €42 as they’d added on a cover charge and still no free bottle of wine! Save your money and eat elsewhere
Dreadful experience coerced in by a male who promised tea and cakes. Restaurant was empty and they were desperate for custom, thought we would have a good experience far from it . No cake just desserts false promise , ordered two teas. Two pots arrived vaguely resembling tea , we asked for another teabag to try and strengthen tea for this we were given a bill for €23 . No words to describe , the waiter was actually annoyed at us. We felt like we had been mugged. Dont go there.
