What bobpark56 dislikes about Da Greco:
Da Greco seems to have died. We drove there yesterday, only to find the parking lot barred and a dilapidated restaurant named Kong on the site...it too being closed. View all feedback.

“Complimenti” for the Chef and his team! Meals are of truly yummy, no-nonsense authentic Italian origins, can’t have it better in the best restaurant in Italy! I can highly recommend the fresh salads, the tasty pasta, yet, the next time I have to try the fish! A glass of wonderfully cooled Cava is arriving on the table before making a wish from the menu and is delicious! Open white wine of the house is very fine too! The Chef is a young enthusiast of his profession and has been sending some wonderful samples of complimentary teasers from the kitchen. All of the where SOOO good that I HAVE TO come back and try those in full version, too! Again: complimenti!

A lovely 5 star restaurant, has seating inside and out, been open approx 3 months. Tony Greco the owner and Chef and his wife own and run DA Greco, they have another restaurant in Barcelona. Top quality food, the pasta cooked from raw in the sauce so perfect, not cooked before hand and added to sauce! Complimentary champagne served to us, as well as samples of fine hams, that melt in your mouth, also samples of pasta dishes, simply delicious. This truly is 5 star dining, good size portions and prices that are fitting, not over the top.You can taste the love in the dishes that Tony prepares. His wife is a lovely lady who certainly knows her husbands cooking, and knows her customers too, in the sort time they have been open! If unsure she will help you with recommendations. The young waitress was very attentive and full of smiles. Their olive oil La Boella, is the best I've ever tasted. Customer care quality would be very hard to beat, never have we been so fussed after, Tony came from the kitchen and talked to us for quite some time, again must state what a lovely friendly couple they are. Plenty parking. We will mark this in our top 3 restaurants of Marbella for sure, in fact I would put Da Greco as our no.1! You will have to book in season as this restaurant will be very busy.

Very nice pasta dishes. The portions are a bit large especially as we got some tasters from other dishes. A nice touch was the complementary glass of bubbles as aperitif. Definately a place to come back to.

This evening we where hungry for a nice Pasta so we thought let’s try the new place Da Greco. We came there and saw that this is a different type of Italian restaurant then the common (tourist Italian). They had a very good offer for a Menu with four dishes and a bottle of wine plus coffee for 45€. That sounded good and we quickly decided to go for that. We had foie gras, burrata, three different pasta as degustation, Dorada, Roastbeef and Tiramisu! This turned in to the best evening on our vacation, the food was very, very good. The service was also fantastic, you immediately feel comfortable and relaxed when you get there. Thank you so much for this amazing evening! we’ll see you again next time we visit Marbella! Best regards S E
