I love fish and I have learned that the nicest tasting fish is when it 's cooked on a wood fired barbecue and this restaurant does it to perfection and this is... read more I love fish and I have learned that the nicest tasting fish is when it 's cooked on a wood fired barbecue and this restaurant does it to perfection and this is one of the reasons why we keep coming back to the area on holiday. There are half a dozen similar beachside restaurants all in a row and Basilio is the one in the middle. The service is excellent from a friendly bunch of people but it 's the food we come for. It was just a quick visit this year and I had a barbecued lubina (sea bass) which was delicious and was served with Spanish potatoes cooked in stock There is plenty on the menu for non fish lovers like my son and his lamb chops looked excellent. Only a quick visit to Spain this time but we will be back at least one more time before we go as I need to remind myself how nice their barbecued sardines are
