Angler & Ale at Hawks Cay - Marathon

Chicken wings and sweet pot stickers are ideal for apps. the specials are always good.

The paid price certainly did not correspond to the food quality and taste at all. it took an hour to get our food from the time of order to table. we arrived early at 17.30 a.m. so that the restaurant was not close to being full. we ordered the churrasco steak and coconut shrimp. the beans and rice were dried and tasteless. the sauteed vegetables were not completely cooked and the carrots had still the green stems on them on several pieces on each of our dishes. the cocosnus garnel brot was muddy because it was not completely boiled. the churrasco steak was hard and hard to cut. the price of $160 for 3 dinners was not worth it. I went to far superior restaurants at higher endpoints and paid the same price for a culinary experience that was fabulous. don't waste your money here!

We were in the resort for thanksgiving. angler ale offered a traditional Thanksgiving plate. the first plate we received was room temperature so we sent it back. the next plate was hardly warmer, but decided to hold it. eating was at best mediocre, nothing special. I wondered how a trained chef could serve this quality of food with good consciousness, especially at $34 a teller. pecan pier for dessert was just as bad. huge disappointment!

The waiter has forgotten the suppe and then ignored or not heard my question to wrap it up for the execution. then it took a long time to get the suppe. they would think suppe would be ready and not take 15 minutes to package it

Bar men great. food good. Service staff terrible, they brought the bread when our meal was finished and table cleared.
