We had a great experience at this restaurant a couple of weeks ago! They offer plenty of outdoor patio seating (I believe there are three areas) where dogs are allowed. I really enjoyed the chicken Caesar salad, which had perfectly shredded chicken, as well as the fish and chips. The coleslaw was delicious, especially with the addition of mandarin oranges—a nice touch. The sweet potato waffle fries were fantastic! My... View all feedback.
What Joesph Swaniawski doesn't like about Dove Mountain Brewing Company:
The good, the bad, the ugly. The beers and chips and fish were delicious. The shredded bbq chicken was SO DRY it was hard to swallow... seriously tasted like canned chicken that had been somewhat dry hydrated. Disappointed the staff never asked how dinner was I would have let them know as nobody would want to serve that chicken to any customer. The ugly...a spray bottle of cleaner was only a few feet away from us and... View all feedback.
We were really hoping to enjoy this place because we love trying out new spots. Unfortunately, we ordered three different dishes, and all of them were disappointing. We had a beef slider, a fish slider, and an Asian chicken salad, and none of them had any flavor. The buns on the sliders were incredibly stale and fell apart the moment we touched them. On a positive note, our server was kind and attentive, and the selection of beer was excellent. If I were in the area and just wanted a drink, I might consider stopping by again. However, with so many breweries that offer great food along with their beer, I probably wouldn’t return. Also, it was mid-October, and there were flies crawling all over us on the patio.
While I wasn't completely blown away by the experience, the burger was still noteworthy. If I found myself with no other options, I would certainly return, as it's better than many typical bar foods. The service, meanwhile, was excellent.
I absolutely adore this place! Chet is one of the most friendly and personable bartenders I've ever encountered. The staff is incredibly nice and always makes you feel welcome. I will keep coming here for as long as it remains open. I highly recommend it!
Eric is super helpful. Thank you! Update 2.7.22 So funny that I have to stack these reviews.... Monday is wings night $1/each, order a minimum of 5). Sit at the bar to order your food directly, and you can watch all the TVs too! There are twobars, inside seating, and outdoor seating. The flourless chocolate torte. The onion rings. The burgers. YUM.
The food options are limited to the menu for takeout, with no chef or blackboard specials available to go. The service is average; the staff isn't particularly helpful, and some of the newer servers seem somewhat detached from the menu and don't engage much with the regular customers. This restaurant mainly attracts customers because of its prime location and being one of the few spots in the area with a full bar. However, they do offer a great selection of draft beers to suit various tastes, and a few staff members are knowledgeable about the beer options, which boosts my rating. Additionally, the restaurant is kid-friendly, with a kids' menu available, and it's also dog-friendly.
