Core Kitchen And Wine At The Ritz-carlton Dove Mountain

Celebrated my wife’s birthday here and memorable it was. Both dishes were plated beautifully and each had great tastes. My filet was as good as I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection. We had excellent service with Robert, and the support staff. Really a great dinner supported by an even more impressive wine selection. We will be back!

We had a great anniversary dinner at Core. Food was perfect.

The service and the food was amazing. Well worth the price tag. I ordered the Wagyu NY strip and I was more than pleased. The Hawaiian volcanic salt was another fav of mine.

The new menu is outstanding . Great presentation and prepared to perfection .

Core has been a staple for us. We have dined here since 2008… during staycations, and for date nights, or birthdays. Last night was the worst. SLOW is an understatement. Glad to see the hotel is bringing on new staff and returning to normal staffing levels. But it shouldn’t take over one hour to get an entree. And when we inquired, and were told that it was being plated,it still took an additional 15 minutes. Every table that sat after us, ordered after us, had food and was done eating before we even got our meals! Entrees were good. Wine list is very nice and well rounded, but with typical AZ resort markups. But let’s also talk about dessert. What has happened to the dessert list. It is sad. And we skipped dessert! And our server, John, told us he has been serving for 10 years, and worked all Over the resort. Great. He still didn’t deliver a satisfactory dining experience. Rodney, the Som, we fantastic. There is definitely room for improvement to get back to a Ritz Carlton level.
