Obie's West - Maquoketa

The tacos were fantastic as always. I experienced no bad service or disappointing meals. I live an hour away, and Obie is the only place I choose to eat when I'm passing through!

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with small furnishings. The bar food is average, featuring a Mexican menu. The portions are quite large, and the prices are very reasonable. The service is excellent. The menu includes items like chicken, steak, and grilled shrimp. I plan to try the burritos on my next visit.

The restaurant has a charming, homey vibe, reminiscent of a classic diner, and you can truly sense the sense of community in the atmosphere—everyone seems to love coming here! The food is not only high-quality but also served in generous portions. Be sure to arrive with a hearty appetite, as you're in for an incredible dining experience!

Large homemade French pommes and buffalo chips. If you are a Philly cheese steak and bread-denderloin fan, you would like to add Obie’s to your list of places to eat. We stayed here on the way to Maquoketa Caves State Park and we are glad we did. Big little hometown restaurant.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent. They had several items to choose from on their menu, so there should be something to please everyone. Yes, I would highly recommend this place.
