Very good to breakfast and for snack, good tasty bhaji, also its on the market when they are looking to buy.
THIS CAFE IS LOCATED IN MAPUSA. the cafe is nice and the coffee is standard. the food is cheap and good for the price
We asked the table to be washed. While it was done, it was done with a very smelly sticky cloth.Surfaces were dirty as the tassen in which we were served panni for drinking. the uttapa was asked to make masala style, and served only with twirling. chutneys were not big and the sambaar was less than desirable. the personal was friendly. So the two stars are for them!
The new appearance of the café corner is truly unique. They have captured the essence and aesthetic of the finest delicacies.
This is in the Mapusa market so if one can stomach the dirty streets , crowds and odors to get to the place, rest assured your trip is well worth the effort. A local haunt, there are two levels- ground for locals and it is...non AC , and a first floor with an air conditioned , slightly pricier level. Early in the morning around 7 am they serve veg Sukhi potato) or patal beans) bhaji with chapati or bread. Later they serve it with poori 's. Spicy but not over the top but extremely flavorful. They also serve great samosas and batatwadas besides masala dosa etc. Aside from this they have sweet semolina based yellow shira , lassi , tea with milk and sugar pre added) and coffee instant added to milk, plus lots of sugar pre added). Lunch time they serve a delicious veg thali with many veg side dishes . In the late afternoon they serve cashew nut bhaji , and sweet potato in a batter. Food is always fresh and tasty. If one can somehow ignore the path to this place , its a must do while at the Mapusa market , particularly for lovers of vegetarian food.
