I absolutely love this bakery! The croissants are outstanding: freshly baked every morning, they make for wonderful sandwiches, especially when paired with chocolate or enjoyed alongside a hot coffee. The bread is also excellent; I always make sure to grab a loaf during every visit! View all feedback.

What Better Food Better Mood dislikes about The Bread Stand:
It’s a neat bakery with a nice ambience.Tried the Pineapple Danish, I feel like if the bread had been a bit crispier and the fruit was fresh it would’ve been amazing.Blood Orange Pistache Danish: Wasn’t a fan, no pistachio flavor either. bitterness from the blood Orange and the cheap tasting choco paste clashed.Vanilla Cream Brioche: An average brioche. Tasted a bit stale.Latte: Pretty bad since it was just 90% milk. View all feedback.

I absolutely adore this place! It's a charming little spot located in the most unexpected part of the city. The rustic decor and welcoming staff create a lovely atmosphere. I loved what I ordered, and the coffee is fantastic as well. I tried the ice cream with oat milk, and it was delicious. My friends and I are definitely planning to return for more pastries!

This restaurant offers amazing food and coffee. I ordered the organic avocado sandwich, which came with a side of green olives, and it was absolutely delicious! The iced latte was also smooth and flavorful. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. My only complaint is that they close at 2:30 PM, which seems quite early. On my first visit, I was turned away because they had stopped serving their lunch menu, which is a major part of their business, even though they used to be open until 4 PM at their previous location. It doesn't seem logical to stop serving lunch so early when the restaurant remains open for other items.

After looking into it further, prompted by the owner's response, I found out that Arturo's in downtown is closing but will be reopening at a new location on 15 Newark Way, where the new Bread Stand will also be. On Google Maps, it's listed as "Artie's" and still features photos of the old location, but they are indeed relocating. This is fantastic news! Their pain au chocolat is incredible, and I can't wait for them to open in their new spot!
