I especially enjoyed the signature lemo... read more I was truly impressed by this restaurant. The comfort food they offer is outstanding, and it is definitely a hidden gem. I especially enjoyed the signature lemon chicken and plantain fries. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. If I lived nearby, this would definitely be my go-to spot. I will definitely be returning.

The vegan fish was average, but the kale Caesar salad was surprisingly delicious. The Mac and Joloff was outstanding. The customer service was excellent and the ambiance was pleasant. Perhaps I just made the wrong choices when ordering. I might give this place another chance in the future.

Even though the food didn’t taste quite like African cuisine (I am African), and they forgot an item the first time I ordered, I can appreciate helping out my black brothers and sisters and their food was tasty. I wanted to make a huge order today for my place of work, nothing too huge but enough to definitely put others on and bring business to their company. So I called, which I’m happy I did. A business that customer service is lacking, is just a turn off no matter how good the food is. So I called and the man on the phone was rude, sounded like he didn’t appreciate me calling. He gave me a “how dare I call him, make him answer the phone and answer a question” kind of vibe. So with that being said I am no longer a customer.
